Originally designed by Ellis Maples, the 7,018-yard The Wellman Golf Club golf has been redesigned by world-renowned golf architect Rees Jones. Located in Johnsonville SC, just 45 minutes from Myrtle Beach. The course features Bermuda fairways and well-trapped fast greens. It has true natural beauty and large, fast, and well-bunkered greens with several challenging water holes.
The signature par 5 11th hole is worth the ride and is considered a mirror image of the famed 13th holes at The Dunes Club in Myrtle Beach. A combination of beautiful and challenging championship golf and true, friendly Southern hospitality.
Golf architect Rees Jones, who has earned the moniker “The Open Doctor” for his work in preparation for numerous major championships.
